We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Paralegal or Trainee to join a dynamic team for a prestigious law firm, renowned for its expertise in maritime, energy, and insurance law. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and management of maritime legal documents and case files
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on maritime law issues
- Draft and review contracts, briefs, and other legal documents related to maritime law
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and standards
Essential Requirements:
- A completed degree in Maritime Law or a related field
- Demonstrated experience and passion for maritime law
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a law firm, shipowners, P&I club, or a similar industry
- Knowledge of international maritime regulations and conventions
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
