We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Paralegal or Trainee to join a dynamic team for a prestigious law firm, renowned for its expertise in maritime, energy, and insurance law. This role offers the chance to work with seasoned professionals on high-value, complex maritime cases, providing you with invaluable experience and career growth in the maritime legal sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of maritime legal documents and case files
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on maritime law issues
  • Draft and review contracts, briefs, and other legal documents related to maritime law
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and standards


Essential Requirements:

  • A completed degree in Maritime Law or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for maritime law
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a law firm, shipowners, P&I club, or a similar industry
  • Knowledge of international maritime regulations and conventions
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
