Ship / Yacht Surveyor - Malta
 
International Travel (Superyacht & Commercial Vessel Projects)

The Role
  • Conduct surveys, inspections, valuations, and compliance checks.
  • Support flag and class surveys, including large yacht code work.
  • Contribute to newbuild and refit projects, including plan approval and shipyard supervision.
  • Produce accurate reports and engage directly with clients.
  • Undertake structured training before moving towards independent survey work.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or STCW II/2 or III/2 CoC.
  • 3-5 years' experience in yacht building, ship repair, class, flag administration, or surveying.
  • Knowledge of IMO conventions, statutory codes, and class rules.
  • Superyacht experience highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English, eligible to work in Malta, and willing to travel internationally.
