They have a small team based in London who work on a variety of projects. You will have opportunities to develop as an engineer and gain project/team management and client interfacing experience.
The Role:
o structural integrity of offshore structures, principally jack-up vessels
o design and analysis of new and existing offshore steel structures
o generalised finite element analysis
o dynamic and statistical simulations
o fatigue analysis
o site specific assessments
- Write detailed reports in support of analyses and evaluations undertaken
- Assist in preparing proposals for new work
- Assist as required in the delivery of project work across their range of services and business streams
- Provide mentoring and coaching to graduates and junior team members
The Person:
- Preferably chartered, candidates will be degree qualified and have experience in the offshore sector.
- Good understanding of hydrodynamics and structural analysis.
- Experience of technical software eg. SESAM (USFOS, GeniE), SACS, NASTRAN, and AutoCAD; Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Experience in jack-ups and fixed structures design/assessment/classification within renewables and oil & gas.
