Job Description

Faststream are working with a fast-growing engineering consultancy to add Instrumentation Engineers at both Senior and Principal level to their team. They are ideally looking for someone to come in on a staff basis but are open to contractors. They have offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Bristol that they would be happy for the ideal candidate to work out of on a hybrid basis. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide instrumentation engineering on projects from concept selection to commissioning.
  • Select, specify, and recommend instrumentation equipment based on project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Review and approve instrumentation engineering deliverables from internal and external teams.
  • Interface effectively with clients, process engineers, other engineering disciplines, and construction teams.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company standards and procedures for instrumentation engineering
Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelors degree
  • Strong experience with FEED projects as an Instrumentation Engineer in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency using design software including Autocad.
  • Must have right to work in the UK.
