The Company...
We are working with a specialist design and engineering services in the marine, offshore renewables, oil & gas, and offshore infrastructure markets.
They are staffed by naval architects, structural engineers, designers, mechanical engineers and marine engineers.
They work with major offshore renewable energy installation contractors providing services from cable, substations, jackets, monopiles transportation and installation to offshore infrastructure engineering. Their services also extend to technical support for barges, ships and jack-up installation vessels as well as foundation design for fixed or floating wind.
The Role...
They are looking to grow the team with someone who has 5-10yrs experience to support them with future projects. Location can be London, Exeter, Southampton or Newcastle.
Involvement will more be in installation projects rather than design of assets themselves but do pickup this work occasionally. The role will be client facing and they will be expected to attend meetings with assistance so must have the confidence to do so.
The Person...
The candidate should be a confident user of Orcaflex, they will ideally have experience in moorings, hydrodynamics and motions analysis. Cable installation background is highly sought after.
