Faststream are working with a leading classification society and technical advisory business with a strong focus on the oil & gas and renewables market. Our client has asked them to assist in the hiring of MetOcean Analyst to join an existing team to provide support and information to the Structural Team who provide FEA Analysis and design support to a range of O&G projects as well as a rapidly growing number of windfarm projects both floating and fixed.
As an experienced Metocean Analyst you will provide specific data for a range of projects for both meteorological and oceanographic conditions. Ideally candidates should have the ability to use MATLAB or Python for modelling and data analysis. Whilst the role is focused on data analysis and provision of data for use in FEA work by the Structures team, there is also the opportunity to develop your project management and client interaction skills with both external clients and other teams within the larger business.
This is a permanent role that ideally is based from our clients Central London based office although the client will consider a hybrid working arrangement as well.
