We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Superintendent to play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical and operational aspects of shipping activities, with a focus on oil and chemical vessels. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive oversight from vessel vetting to operations support, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and offering expert advice to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Chief Officer/Captain rank with COC1 certification
- At least 3 years of onshore experience as a Marine Superintendent in the oil/chemical shipping industry
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in technical and operational shipping oversight, including but not limited to vetting, regulation compliance, and standard control
- Familiarity with SIRE inspection, P&I Club, and other regulatory bodies is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within an international, multicultural team
- Proactive, independent mindset with a strong team-player attitude and a drive for achieving results
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the role, including occasional on-site visits and inspections.
