Faststream is delighted to be exclusively partnering with one of the biggest names in the cruise sector. We are supporting this industry leader in their search for a Senior Marine Engineer who will be vital to design and development of their newbuilding projects.
As the Senior Marine Engineer you will be responsible for steering the plan approval activities related to ships machinery and marine systems. A clear understanding of developments within the LNG discipline areas and how these should be implemented on board vessels is essential and the ability to participate in the design and development of new vessels, assist in negotiation of specifications and associated documents with builders, contractors and operating companies is required. This role is responsible for providing managing and applying LNG technical expertise in marine engineering to the design, construction and conversion of passenger vessels and to the operation of the existing fleet.
You should be a subject matter expert in the field of marine engineering, possessing a wealth of experience in the end to end design and construction of specialist vessels, cruise ships being highly advantageous.
You may also be considered if you come from a process engineering background within O&G, with a particular focus n LNG or alternative fuels.
