The accountability for the Senior Logistics Coordinator role are as follows: -
- Good understanding of Air and Sea freight
- Update and operate the Operations System
- Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or road based on shipping instructions
- Apply for necessary custom permits
- Attending to site meeting, survey & loadouts as and when required
- Liaising with respective overseas office and agents
- Acknowledge incoming invoices from vendor and raising outgoing invoices to customer for payment
- Prepare quotations to clients
- Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers
