Over the past 10 years our client has been at the forefront in supporting the marine renewables industry in wave and tidal marine technology and supply chain service, successfully completing projects for many of the world’s leading marine energy converters.
Their engineers create everything from the initial concept to the final design for multidisciplinary projects. They develop ideas for new products and prototypes, as well as evolving the design details of established ranges. They integrate innovative functional solutions to support the industry.
They are looking to recruit a Senior Engineer with a background in Naval Architecture or Structural Engineering, ideally in Renewable Energy or Oil & Gas Engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mooring Systems and be a confident user of Orcaflex.
This role is based in Orkney, they are open to candidates who work on a part remote basis and travel to site for 1-2wks per month or can offer accommodation for someone open to relocating there.
