Faststream Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading energy transition consultancy to recruit for a Electrical Engineer. The client operate in all energy sectors such as Renewable energy and traditional O&G and then focuses on the following areas like floating wind, wave and tidal stream developers, marine installation contractors, hydrogen, sustainability projects and all areas of Oil & Gas Engineering.

The Role - (Remote or Hybrid)
As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be working on multiply projects for the client. These projects will be from traditional O&G and renewable energy.
This role is open to all locations and would highly recommend anyone with a strong O&G or Renewables back ground to get in touch.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and checking of electrical engineering deliverables including calculations, analyses, reports in line with project procedures, standards, and specifications
  • Delivering across various projects with Concept, FEED and Design
  • Working with electrical designers and leads when needed
  • Assist with future work estimations and bids
  • Arrange electrical packages needed and equipment required
  • Preparation of equipment specifications
  • Working with HV/LV switchboard designs
  • Closely working with electrical motors and protection
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree relevant to Electrical Engineering
  • Previous upstream Oil and Gas Electrical Engineering experience
  • Previous experience understanding and working with international standards relating to electrical equipment and system designs
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience with variable speed drives (VSD)
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience with variable speed drives (VSD)
  • Have the right to work in the UK
