Faststream recruitment are searching for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for a client based on the South Coast.

What does your day look like with my client as a Electrical Design Engineer?

Let me tell you a little about the role. Please note, it's always worth discussing the role over the phone as I am sure you are interested in this fantastic opportunity but also you might feel that some things do not match with your  experience. Either way, lets talk about it.

The Opportunity -
  • A large part of this role will be system design and integration for electrical systems.
  • improve and create new documentation regarding drawings, technical reports and schematics.
  • Discuss concepts and provide effective communication with clients, stakeholders and the team.
  • You will be working in a multi-disciplined team to make sure all systems and processes are working smoothly.
  • Work with and develop new prototypes of equipment and electrical systems.
  • Look to improve and suggest new ideas and seek our new innovative improvements.
Ideally have - 
  • Degree in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or similar educational degree. (Over 5 years relevant industry experience will be considered)
  • Experience using CAD software's for electrical design work.
  • Previously dealt with detailed design specifications with large / high value projects.
  • Experience with industry regulations, standards and best practices.
  • Been involved in commissioning or testing work.
  • A driven personality that loves to get stuck in and being part of a team that strives for innovation and sustainability.
