About the Role:
As a Senior Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of Ambrey's intelligence and risk advisory services. You’ll lead and support a team of analysts, oversee the quality of our analytical outputs, and engage directly with clients and industry stakeholders to deliver trusted, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor Duty Analysts to ensure effective delivery of security event reporting and risk assessments
- Provide high-quality analysis and guidance in response to global maritime security incidents
- Represent Ambrey at client meetings, industry briefings, and events
- Drive innovation in our analytical services and support product development
- Maintain high analytical standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- 3+ years’ experience as an analyst in maritime risk or security
- Master’s and bachelor’s degrees in a relevant field (e.g. International Relations, Security Studies)
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of managing analytical teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Recognised expertise in maritime security trends and best management practices
- Experience with platforms like Guardian or Sentinel
- Familiarity with BMP guidance and security routing protocols
- Background in product innovation or commercial consultancy in the maritime sector
