Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workforce Scheduler to join a leading organisation within the global marine and cruise sector. This role is responsible for supporting the planning, scheduling, and logistics of shipboard crew within Marine Operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workforce deployment across the fleet.

The ideal candidate will have a background in workforce planning, analytics, or logistics, with a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills. This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities to contribute to optimisation and process improvement initiatives.

This is an office based role and all applicants must live within a commutable distance to Weybridge Surrey or be willing to relocate. Existing Right to Work in the UK is essential. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule crew assignments and rotation planning for the Marine department.
  • Support effective par level planning processes and related operational procedures.
  • Design and implement optimised workforce solutions that meet fleet and business requirements.
  • Maintain strong communication with Marine Operations, leadership, team members, and crew across all scheduling, logistics, and planning matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies, including flag and port state legislation and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems, including performance details for succession planning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience in workforce planning, analytics, scheduling, or logistics services.
  • Education from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) preferred.
  • Familiarity with automated HR or workforce planning systems is desirable.
