We are supporting a leading offshore vessel operator in the search for a Dry Dock Technical Superintendent to be based in Rotterdam. This role requires the successful candidate to already be living and working locally; no relocation support is offered.
The Role You will work closely with fleet management and vessel crews to plan, coordinate and deliver dry dockings and major maintenance projects for a fleet of offshore vessels. The role focuses on ensuring dockings are completed safely, on schedule and within budget, while maintaining the highest technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage dry docks and major repairs
- Prepare technical specifications, budgets and schedules
- Liaise with shipyards, vendors and class societies
- Monitor progress, cost control and quality during dockings
- Ensure compliance with class, flag and company standards
- Provide technical support to vessels and shore management
- Marine engineering qualification (Chief Engineer or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a Technical Superintendent or dry dock role
- Strong offshore vessel technical knowledge
- Experience dealing with shipyards
