As Sales Manager, you will be part of a dynamic commercial team, taking full ownership of sales activities within your assigned geographical region. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, you will ensure an excellent client experience while representing the business at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
Operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing environment, this role offers broad exposure — from direct sales and new business development to strengthening brand presence in your market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the commercial performance of your region, including order intake, pipeline development, and engagement with customers and agents
- Build, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to closing
- Represent the business at international exhibitions, conventions, and industry events
- Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic input to senior management
- Work closely with marketing to maximise lead generation and brand visibility
- Travel internationally as required
- Strong affinity with the maritime industry
- Higher education qualification, preferably in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Shipping
- Relevant commercial experience, ideally within a technical or maritime environment
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and commercially driven mindset
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Persuasive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently with a proven sales track record
