We are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join a rapidly growing organisation at the forefront of sustainable technology within the maritime sector. In this role, you will take full ownership of commercial activities within your assigned region, driving sales growth and building strong client relationships. Acting as the key contact for customers, you’ll represent the company at key industry events, support brand development, and play an essential role in expanding the business’s international presence.

What will you be doing?
- Take full responsibility for the commercial success of your assigned territory, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, partners, and agents to ensure lasting business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage a healthy sales pipeline to meet revenue goals.
- Represent the company at major trade fairs, conferences, and networking events around the world.
- Work closely with the marketing team to enhance visibility and generate new leads in your region.
- Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to management, helping shape business direction.
- Support and collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
- Be prepared for regular international travel as part of your role.
What are the requirements?
- Strong connection and understanding of the maritime/ marine industry, ideally sales experience in this sector.
- Higher education degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a relevant field such as Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Shipping would be beneficial.
- Strong experience in a commercial or business development position, ideally within a technical or maritime environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work proactively and independently.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving business growth.
