Position Overview: As a Refurbishment & Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing outfitting projects for a designated class of vessels. From minor touch-ups to major refurbishments, you'll ensure that every aspect of our vessels reflects the utmost in quality and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify outfitting needs to maintain vessels in optimal condition.
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold the standards of ship interiors.
- Lead and supervise all outfitting works, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement necessary modifications and improvements.
- Provide timely and comprehensive progress reports to keep stakeholders informed.
- Proactively address challenges and risks to ensure project success.
- Deliver engaging presentations to executive audiences when required.
- Proficiency in English (French or Italian language skills are a plus).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Naval Architecture preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and CAD software.
- Familiarity with maritime regulations and technical drawings.
