Faststream are working with an energy consultancy to add a Proposal Engineer to their team. This is a hybrid working position based out of Hull.
Responsibilities:
Review proposal enquiry documents to understand client scope requirements and communicate them to the bid/proposal team.
Manage and monitor the progress of the bid team's initial assessment of technical, financial, and schedule aspects associated with a proposal to meet the response deadline.
Perform Bid/No Bid assessments.
Arrange a bid kick-off meeting with the selected team, share enquiry documents, and agree on an approach and bid plan.
Manage/co-ordinate the technical team's proposal contribution, including scope description, deliverables, and man-hour/costs, in time for management review and client submission. Ensure the technical team understands the scope of delivery by using network analysis diagrams, other tools, or senior management input.
Liaise with clients to respond to proposal/bid clarifications, follow up on submitted proposals, and review compliance of received purchase orders with the proposal.
Work with and coordinate meetings with sales team.
Requirements:
Degree or HND/HNC in relevant subject.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
Experience in preparing bids and proposals in the fields of engineering services, technical design, or technical consultancy.
Must have right to work in the UK.
