Job Description

An established organisation in the maritime sector is looking to appoint a Project Manager (Crewing) to take the lead on a range of operational projects across crew management, recruitment, retention, performance, competence development, and training.
  
This is a key role within a dynamic team, ideal for someone who thrives on structure, stakeholder engagement, and driving meaningful change across international crewing operations experience with Lean 6 Sigma highly desired.
  
Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution
  • Lead and coordinate multiple operational projects across crewing and training.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress, resolve challenges, and ensure successful, on-time delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify priorities and define project objectives.
  • Act as a central point of contact for project updates, reporting, and communication.
  • Present regular updates to senior stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Governance
  • Identify and implement improvements to systems and workflows.
  • Contribute to project governance by maintaining compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Support the rollout of best practices and change management processes.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including risk logs and decision registers.
  • Track KPIs and report on project performance and departmental impact.
  
  
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, HR, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in project management—ideally within the maritime or logistics industries.
  • Understanding of crewing operations, maritime training, and compliance frameworks such as STCW and MLC is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Lean 6 Sigma qualifications highly preferred
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and Microsoft Office.
  • Existing right to work within Cyprus
