Faststream Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading name in the shipping industry to recruit for a Procurement Manager – someone who knows how to think strategically, challenge inefficiencies, and bring real value to the way procurement is run.

This isn't a role for someone who places orders. You're not here to call up and order ten pumps or a batch of filters. You're the one who builds the system that decides when, where, and why that order happens — and whether there's a better way to do it.

What you’ll bring: You’ve likely worked in a sizeable ship owner or ship manager, with first-hand experience of procurement at scale. You’ll know what it means to:
  • Optimise internal procurement processes
  • Lead competitive tendering activities
  • Deliver value through strategic planning, benchmarking, and cost-efficiency initiatives
  • Identify and execute economies of scale across global operations
  • Understand and enhance end-to-end supply chain management
You’re someone who understands the big picture. You’ll advise on procurement strategy, influence decision-making, and have a real say in how the procurement function evolves.
