Responsibilities:
- Lead the instrumentation design team on projects, providing technical guidance and mentoring to team members
- Ensure that designs meet project requirements, standards, and specifications
- Review and approve instrumentation design deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and specifications
- Coordinate with other design disciplines, project managers, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Prepare and review project scopes, schedules, and budgets for instrumentation design activities
- Develop and maintain instrumentation design standards and procedures
- Participate in design reviews and risk assessments
- Provide technical support to procurement, construction, and commissioning teams during project execution
- Manage change requests and variations to the instrumentation design scope
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, codes, and standards
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation design, including control systems, safety systems, and fire and gas detection systems
- Experience in leading a team of instrumentation designers
- Proficient in using design software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience in EPC projects is highly desirable
