This role will provide the opportunity to make a difference as part of a global and sustainable Classification Society, who are pioneering the safety and performance of new technologies in the maritime industry.
As a Plan Approval Engineer specialising in Machinery you will be assessing drawings and designs for various vessel types to ensure that they meet the relevant regulations and requirements. As part of your daily work you will review drawings and documentation for various shipbuilding projects with a focus on machinery and equipment. You will be working closely with clients including shipyards and engineering companies.
You should be educated to an MSc level in Mechanical or Marine Engineering or alternatively have relevant Nautical qualifications. This position is suitable for varying experience levels.
