Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Executive to oversee the day-to-day management of dry bulk vessels, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across ports, cargo handling, and voyage execution. This role acts as a key link between masters, charterers, agents, and internal stakeholders, safeguarding vessel performance, compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily vessel operations, cargo handling, bunkers, and voyage performance.
  • Coordinate with masters, agents, and charterers on port calls, on/off-hire, berthing, and documentation.
  • Manage PDAs, hire/freight invoicing, laytime calculation, demurrage/dispatch settlement, and payment follow-up.
  • Handle claims, disputes, insurance matters, and liaise with P&I Clubs as required.
  • Ensure compliance and support for vessel transits in sensitive areas, including security and insurance arrangements.
Requirements
  • Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in dry bulk operations; prior exposure in a shipowner environment preferred.
  • Strong skills in planning, coordination, and claims handling.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and effective communicator across all levels.
