You will:
- Oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient operations of a fleet of dry bulk carriers.
- Conduct ship visits, audits, and inspections, ensuring adherence to ISM, ISPS, MLC, STCW, and Flag/Port State requirements.
- Provide guidance and operational support to Masters and officers, promoting a robust safety culture across the fleet.
- Investigate incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Liaise with owners, charterers, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
- Sailing background as Master Mariner (preferred) or Chief Officer on dry bulk carriers with relevant shore experience.
- Previous shore-based experience as a Marine Superintendent (advantageous).
- In-depth knowledge of international regulations, safety management systems, and bulk carrier operations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to build trust with both seafarers and shore staff.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to communicate effectively with multinational crews and stakeholders.
