Faststream is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager position on container vessels for a global leader in ship operations and management company based in London.
Your daily tasks would include co-ordinating the day-to-day operational activities of a fleet of container vessels in an efficient, timely and cost- effective manner, to ensure the owners’ and charterers’ expectations are met - whilst actively promoting the company’s safety culture and standards aboard the vessels.
Preferred candidate should have In-depth experience of carrying out the shore-based day to day operations of container vessels – preferably from sea-going officer experience (Chief Officer or Captain) on container vessels, or from previous shore-based operational work, and have a degree in shipping operations/master’s certificate (or equivalent).
As this position is based in London, rights to work in United Kingdom is required.
