Faststream is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to lead and manage a fleet of offshore units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational management, with a proven track record in the offshore industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, Implement and improve Operational Policies:
 - Create and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective offshore operations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
 
- Day-to-Day Management:
 - Oversee the day-to-day management of offshore activities, ensuring they meet productivity and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other department heads to align operational activities with the overall company strategy.
 
- Financial Management:
 - Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial resources.
- Oversee procurement and supply chain management to ensure cost-effectiveness.
 
- Compliance and Safety:
 - Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements in all offshore operations.
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response plans.
 
- Team Leadership:
 - Lead and manage a diverse team, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Facilitate communication between onshore and offshore teams.
 
- Data Analysis and Improvement:
 - Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
- Drive operational excellence through data-driven insights.
 
- Stakeholder Engagement:
 - Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients, charterers, end-users, regulatory bodies, partners, and suppliers.
 
- Infrastructure Maintenance:
 - Ensure that all offshore equipment and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards and fit for purpose.
 
- Emergency Preparedness:
 - Be prepared to respond to emergencies and unexpected issues, implementing contingency plans as needed.
 
- Experience: Significant experience in an Operations Management position within the offshore industry. This must include senior level operational management of DP2/DP3 vessels. A seagoing career at the level of Chief Officer or Master on the same vessel types would also be essential experience in this role.
- Education: Relevant degree or equivalent qualifications.
