Faststream is working with an offshore operator known for its innovative approach to offshore decommissioning to recruit an experienced Offshore Decommissioning Supervisor. This is a unique opportunity to join a technically driven project from the ground up and play a key leadership role in a forward-thinking offshore team.

The Offshore Decommissioning Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of offshore decommissioning activities. Working closely with the Offshore Project Superintendent and engineering team, this role ensures that operations are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day offshore decommissioning operations, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Offshore Decommissioning Engineer and subcontractors to align execution with engineering documentation.
  • Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-deck coordination of lifting, cutting, and removal activities.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions in real time.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and materials are verified, tested, and ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate records of offshore activities, changes, and incidents.
  • Support the integration and commissioning of new equipment on the jack-up unit.
  • Oversee early jacket removal campaigns in the UK North Sea, with future projects expanding to topsides and large-scale decommissioning from 2026 onward.
Experience & Requirements:
  • Proven experience in offshore decommissioning supervision, ideally with heavy lift operations.
  • Strong background in offshore construction, lifting operations, or similar high-risk environments.
  • Ability to lead teams in a dynamic offshore setting with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to work 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation.
  • Must have the right to work in the EU or UK.
