Opportunity for an exceptional Office & Facilities Coordinator to join the market leader in clean marine technology. 

Silverstream Technologies has successfully developed and deployed a market-leading clean marine technology solution over the last ten years - The Silverstream® System. Our Air Lubrication System (ALS) fundamentally changes the interaction between water and a vessel's hull, creating a carpet of microbubbles that coats the flat bottom of a vessel. As a result, frictional resistance is reduced - dramatically improving a vessel's fuel consumption and associated emissions.

The role:

The position of Office & Facilities Co-Ordinator has arisen to ensure the use of the facility is optimised while presenting a professional image to clients and suppliers alike.  The role will report to the Vice President, Corporate Services but will support the Facilities and HR Manager as their role transitions to full- time HR Manager.  Throughout the course of 12 to 18 months, the scope of this role will grow and it is intended as a progressive pathway.
The role will form part of a wider Administration function and, as such, will occasionally be required to provide support across other business functions in periods of absence.

The responsibilities:

The role is anticipated to develop quickly, but immediate responsibilities include:
  • Responsibility for 'front of house' management, keeping office tidy & well presented
  • Preparing meeting rooms in advance
  • Meeting & greeting visitors
  • Providing in- meeting refreshments
  • External catering for meetings
  • Office desk planning and diary management
  • Office H&S incl. Lead Fire Marshal and First Aider
  • Consumables procurement
  • Day to day administration of cleaning and maintenance contracts
  • Office IT, Audio and Visual set up and running
  • Office related team communication (via admin@ email address)
  • Internal & external event planning
  • Arranging & booking external meeting spaces, as necessary
  • Overseas travel booking (for designated teams)
  • Ad hoc support to Senior Management Team
  • Provision of cover for other administrative roles during periods of absence
  • Liaising with Shanghai Office Manager to ensure cohesion of policy and culture
  • Support to VP, Corp. Services including:
    • o Responsibility for branding and formatting of Company documents
    • o support in attaining and maintaining Company Certification to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
    • o Management of documents within the Information Management System
