My client is looking for a Contract Naval Architect specialising in Installation for Top Sides to join the team as soon as possible due to a key 12 month installation project.
This role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will only be made after a Qdos assessment.
As a Technical Advisor Naval Architect for this company you will provide engineering services and technical support for design and analysis related to floating and fixed offshore structures. This role has a strong emphasis in the installation of fixed offshore structures.
As the installation lead you will primarily provide support related to this discipline but may get involved in other areas of naval architecture. Specific responsibilities are likely to be focused on the installation of topsides modules by crane vessel but may also include jacket launch and set-down and the removal of flotation tanks. The position requires an enthusiastic approach and a strong analytical background to be able to tackle the various challenges related to the installation of fixed structures.
