As a Maritime Programmes, Welfare and Development Officer your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Supporting the head of learning and welfare in administration and development of training and mentoring programmes.
- Being the first line contact for all internal and external enquiries, responding to these in a timely manner.
- To manage the bursary applications for approval by the head of learning and welfare.
- To identify opportunities and promote programmes run by the organisation for seafarers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the marketing team in the administration and promotion of courses.
- To input and analyse all programme data, producing reports for stakeholders as required.
- To support with occasional invigilation of examinations as required.
- Work as part of the reception team and be involved with the daily duties roster.
- Assisting in providing an effective and efficient bookshop/library service, including dealing with online and telephone sales.
- Keeping accurate financial and operational data relating to library services.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer programs or software packages related to job responsibilities
- Strong client management skills, responsive to customers
- Team player, able to work well with others
- Able to attend the office based in London for 2 days per week.
- DBS check is required and would need to be passed for this role.
- Oraganised individual with strong administrative skills.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
