The successful candidate will act as a technical specialist for all the assets, focused on marine engineering, planned maintenance and equipment upgrades. You will be involved in analysis of ship performance and implement technical improvements in the ship maintenance systems, as well as contribute to the PMS development. You will work within budgetary restraints and be involved with planning and executing vessel dockings, modifications and repairs as well as liaising with class and flag, amongst various other duties.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Chief Engineer / 2nd Engineer Unlimited COC
- Sailing experience in capacity of Chief / 1st / 2nd Engineer on Offshore Vessels. Other vessel types will also be considered
- Shore based experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential (will consider someone straight from sea)
- The existing right to live and work in the UK and be based within commuting distance to Aberdeen
