Faststream have partnered with a diverse, international organization in the search for a Marine Surveyor to join their team in China.
Our clients are a leading global classification society who establish and maintain technical standards for the construction and operation of ships and offshore structures.
You will be carrying out class and statutory surveys on new building projects or ships-in-service of varying types of vessels. This will include carrying out inspections for the certification of materials, components, marine products and service suppliers.
They are looking for a motivated and independent thinker who has previous experience working within a classification society, however, those who have experience in newbuilding projects in a yard, specifically focused on in the hull division, will be held in high regard.
Auditor qualifications such as ISM, ISPS and MLC would also be beneficial.
