This is a newly created role, introduced as the fleet grows beyond its current Multi-Purpose Project (MPP) vessel coverage. The successful hire will take ownership of marine operations for specialised and project vessels, with further additions expected in the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe and compliant marine operations of specialised vessels
- Ensure adherence to international regulations, including EU, UK, and Australian maritime legislation
- Provide marine guidance and operational support to vessels trading internationally
- Act as the key shore-based point of contact for Masters and onboard teams
- Support audits, inspections, incident reviews, and operational best practices
- Master Mariner / Master sailing rank
- Sailing experience on international trades
- Background operating MPP / Heavy Lift vessels (essential)
- Exposure to Semi-Submersible or SPMT operations is highly advantageous
- Fresh sailors are welcome to apply
- Chinese national, fluent in Mandarin with working / average English
