We are seeking a Marine Recruitment Sourcer to join our in-house talent acquisition team, supporting the recruitment of sea-going personnel for cruise vessels around the world. This role is central to developing and executing sourcing strategies, maintaining proactive talent pipelines, and ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates for a high-volume, fast-paced hiring environment.
Key Responsibilities Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for a wide range of shipboard roles, from high-volume to hard-to-fill positions
- Identify candidates through various channels, including job boards, direct sourcing, social media, and referrals
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs
- Support recruitment campaigns for new ship builds, specialist roles, and emerging markets
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing efforts with workforce planning
- Provide insight into labor market conditions, hiring trends, and competitor activity
- Build partnerships with universities, industry associations, and government programs to support sourcing initiatives
- Conduct initial screening and pre-qualification of candidates for shipboard roles
- Evaluate applicants based on experience, qualifications, and compliance with international maritime standards (STCW, SOLAS, MLC)
- Collaborate with recruiters to assess candidate fit and readiness for various hiring campaigns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Monitor sourcing metrics and recruitment KPIs to evaluate performance and improve outcomes
- Ensure all sourcing activity adheres to global recruitment compliance standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing practices and recruitment operations
- Represent the company at recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates throughout the sourcing process
- Promote the employer brand and core values during all candidate interactions
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in high-volume sourcing or recruitment, preferably with international exposure
- Experience sourcing skilled professionals within marine, hospitality, BPO, or shared services industries is advantageous
- Proficient in sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-output environment with shifting priorities
- Knowledge of international labor standards and maritime recruitment compliance preferred
