Marine Recruiter

Location: Southwest London | Full-time | Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced Marine Recruiter to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for global shipboard roles. This role is key to identifying, assessing, and hiring high-quality marine professionals across a variety of departments, while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, the Recruiter partners closely with operational stakeholders to deliver timely, compliant, and effective hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill shipboard roles
  • Use proactive sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, and databases
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and define job requirements
  • Conduct structured, competency-based interviews and assess technical and cultural fit
  • Ensure strong candidate communication and a positive experience throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate hiring events (virtual/on-site) and support volume campaigns as needed
  • Ensure full compliance with global maritime employment standards (STCW, SOLAS, MLC)
  • Maintain accurate ATS records and prepare recruitment metrics, reports, and dashboards
  • Deliver hires efficiently within a high-output team
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years’ recruitment experience (marine, cruise, travel, or hospitality sectors preferred)
  • Strong sourcing capabilities, including Boolean search and talent mapping
  • Familiarity with maritime certification and compliance standards (STCW, MLC, etc.)
  • Proficiency in ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and CRMs (e.g., Smartsheets)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands in a global, multicultural setting
