Job Description

As a Marine Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) compliance across our operations. You will serve as an independent advisor, auditor, and coach, providing day-to-day guidance and support to our vessels, departments, and business units. Your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing risks, promoting continuous improvement, and safeguarding our operations from environmental harm.

Qualifications
  • Education and Experience:
    • Academic or professional qualification in a relevant maritime field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HSSE assurance role.
    • Previous experience as a 2nd officer or higher rank in the offshore industry, with Dynamic Positioning experience, is highly preferred.
  • Certifications:
    • Internal Auditor Qualification or NEBOSH International Diploma, or equivalent certification, is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Thorough understanding of International Maritime legislation (ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, etc.) and HSSE regulations.
    • Proficient in HSSE auditing and inspection methodologies.
