Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage all inventory-related functions, including planning, forecasting, ordering, and controlling Hotel and Food & Beverage supplies across the fleet.
  • Standardization: Implement standardized workflows, procedures, and policies in line with MSPM and HESS standards.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Perform regular analytics to review inventory trends, address issues, and ensure compliance with financial targets.
  • Cost Effectiveness: Ensure cost-effective inventory management and compliance with target inventory par levels.
  • Physical Inventories: Oversee regular physical inventories of Food & Beverage, Hotel, Linen, Uniforms, and Bar locations.
  • Operations: Lead the ordering and receiving plan for all vessels, ensuring all supplies are accounted for and stored properly.
  • Team Leadership: Schedule and manage the Hotel Inventory Managers fleetwide, develop succession plans, and establish training requirements.
  • Shipboard Visits: Conduct shipboard visits to evaluate inventory procedures and ensure quality and compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in inventory, materials, systems, and logistics management (preferably shipboard).
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience in the cruise industry or land-based hotel operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong general management skills, including planning, organizing, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of inventory systems (Crunchtime preferred) and Microsoft Office/Outlook applications.
  • Compliance Expertise: Knowledge of public health standards related to storeroom management and food & chemical storage guidelines.
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma/GED required; Inventory Management Certification preferred.
