Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with oil majors and key stakeholders in the Middle East’s maritime and energy sectors, focusing on marine lubricant trading.
- Lube Trading: Execute complex lubricant trades, ensuring competitive pricing, reliable supply, and effective risk management for marine-grade oils (e.g., engine oils, hydraulic fluids).
- Market Analysis: Provide clients with insights on lubricant market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply chain developments, leveraging proprietary data and industry expertise.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Dubai team to enhance trading strategies, streamline operations, and deliver exceptional client service.
- Industry Presence: Represent the company at regional and global industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen market leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with international maritime regulations (e.g., MARPOL) and industry standards for lubricant quality and supply.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Mid-Senior Lube Trader with a strong track record in marine lubricant trading and a passion for the maritime and energy industries.
Key qualifications include:
- Experience: 3-5+ years in lubricant trading, with expertise in marine-grade lubricants (e.g., engine oils, greases). Relationships with oil majors are a strong advantage.
