We are partnering with a prominent shipping conglomerate to hire suitably experienced Technical Superintendents to manage their LNG carriers. This opportunity allows for the flexibility to be based remotely.
To be considered, you need to have proven sailing records as a Chief Engineer on LNG carriers, and you have at least 4 years of recent experience as a Technical Superintendent for LNG carriers. Experience with either Steam, DFDE, TFDE, MEGI or XDF vessels.
You will be responsible for the end to end technical management of the vessels assigned to you. Together with your team, you will ensure the seaworthiness of the vessels through effective maintenance planning. Providing technical advice for relevant technical/engineering issues on your vessels. Budget planning and cost management. Travel for dry docking, engineering projects and vessel visits.
