Faststream is currently recruiting for a junior operator to join an expanding and successful ship owner/operator in Hamburg.
This role will be to join a friendly but hardworking operations team. You will be supported and trained to fully operate multipurpose vessels during their voyage and be responsible for giving voyage instructions to Masters, laytime, claims, demurrage and all aspects of commercial vessel operations.
The ideal person will have completed their Ausbildung plus a few years work experience within shipping sector. You will be working with both their owned and chartered MPP fleet and gain exposure to heavy lift, breakbulk, dry bulk and project cargo.
If you are ambitious and keen to learn within a company, they will help support your growth and progression to take on more responsibility. You will be joining a global company with offices internationally.
