As the HSEQ Superintendent, you will be tasked with:
- Improving Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and processes.
- Enhancing awareness, implementation, and enforcement of safety management systems.
- Planning, preparing, and executing HSEQ trainings and safety campaigns.
- Continuing improvement and implementation of the TMSA.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with new rules and regulations.
- Following up on audit findings both onboard vessels and in the office.
- Conducting familiarization for vessel staff on the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Reviewing and approving risk assessments.
- Investigating non-conformities and incidents to ensure preventive measures are applied.
- Preparing fleet circulars and alerts on important safety, environmental, and regulatory matters.
We are seeking candidates with:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in HSEQ within the maritime industry.
- Strong managerial skills including time management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- A proactive and curious mindset with a keen interest in learning.
- Strong communication skills and comfort in an international environment.
- Familiarity with HSEQ-related international rules, regulations, and maritime industry practices.
- Seagoing experience in a senior position on tanker vessels is advantageous.
