About the Role:
As Hotel Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our fleet's hotel services. From guest satisfaction to operational strategy, your leadership will be key in maintaining the highest standards onboard and ensuring synergy between land and sea.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with ships to ensure efficient, economical daily hotel operations.
- Drive revenue optimization, quality improvement, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee and implement hotel operations objectives and key results (OKRs).
- System owner for onboard hotel systems and processes.
- Monitor and improve guest satisfaction in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Foster strong land-sea cooperation and team ownership.
- Evaluate and improve procedures to meet organizational goals.
- Manage key partnerships and supplier agreements with internal stakeholders.
- Visit ships to guide and develop onboard hotel leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel-related regulations and standards.
- Implement and follow up on service programs and operational concepts.
- Maintain and develop standard procedures within the QA system.
- Lead hotel operations projects within an active development portfolio.
- Ensure HSE compliance across hotel departments and conduct regular reviews.
- Support terminal, lounge, and port/airport guest services.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English (both written and verbal).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to varied working hours.
- Based in Oslo or Tromsø, with regular ship visits.
- Financially savvy with a sharp operational mindset.
