Faststream Recruitment are working with a leading Manchester based Engineering Consultancy who focus on the design and construction of Cryogenic Gas storage projects.

We are looking for a Degree qualified Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. You will be undertaking design work on projects and proposals across Europe and Asia and will be expected to deliver in the following areas:
  • Development of conceptual design
  • Development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
  • Development of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Check design work on projects and proposals as directed by the Head of Process or Lead Process Engineer
  • Execution of process simulations
  • Sizing and design of equipment
  • Sizing of relief valve and design of relief system
  • Preparation of descriptions for plant control
  • Undertake commissioning and start-up activities on site, when assigned. (Reporting to Commissioning
The role would be focused on Graduate level candidates with anywhere between 1 -2 years experience as a minimum although recent graduates would be considered. Candidates should have the right to work in the UK.

The role is based in our clients Manchester office but will also offer the opportunity for hybrid working with 2 days per week working from home if required. Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package as well as the opportunity to be involved in overseas travel on occasion.
