A fantastic opportunity with my client, they are a reputable internationally ship owner and ship-management firm.
They are looking to recruit a freight trader manager to join their team in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Identify and grow potential cargo interests, brokers, and tonnage provider
- Manage and organize all cargo related activities, trade, booking, negotiation, and execution
- Follow up with payments and freight invoice
- Strategic input on Voyage Lifecycle
The successful candidate will be someone:
- min 5 years of freight forwarding experience in bulk vessels (Panamax, Cape Size etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills, detail oriented and interpersonal skills
- Analytical, critical thinking skills and a business savvy mentality
