Faststream has entered into a partnership with the A&P Group, a globally recognised ship repair & conversion specialist, to assist them in attracting the very best talent for their yards in the North East of the UK, Tyne & Tees.
For the Tyne yard, we are in search of Fabrication Project Engineer to report directly to the Fabrication Manager/Director. The Fabrication Project Engineer will co-ordinate and expedite all aspects of the fabrication engineering and management of all disciplines and functions within the fabrication facility. They are tasked with liaising with on-site project team ensuring all issues are captured, actioned and documented, and will oversee, monitor, maintain and report the fabrication progress to the Fabrication Manager/Director as well as Project Manager(s).
We are looking for someone with a strong fabrication background from the marine/ship repair industry who holds a recognised engineering qualification. You should be well versed in all matters of HSEQ and have a detailed understanding of the execution process of mid to large scale projects.
