Maritime Recruitment Consultant - Remote

Work with global shipping clients. Run a high-potential desk. Be the go-to Maritime Recruitment expert.

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter, ideally with maritime recruitment experience, to take the lead on one of our most established desks. You’ll focus on mid-to-senior level permanent hiring across the technical or commercial shipping space, partnering with global clients in one of the most vital and international industries in the world.

This is a remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from home while still being fully supported by our team and trusted brand. You’ll step into a warm desk with a strong track record, loyal clients, and high growth potential — a platform to become the industry’s go-to recruitment partner.

You’ll also benefit from joining a business with a 25+ yearsreputation in maritime recruitment — meaning clients already know, trust, and respect the brand you’ll represent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver contingent, exclusive, and retained recruitment assignments in the shipping sector

  • Recruit mid-to-senior level professionals across technical or commercial functions

  • Manage and grow relationships with global clients, building long-term partnerships

  • Own the full 360-cycle: job briefing, search, candidate engagement, interviews, offer management

  • Position yourself as a trusted maritime recruitment expert

What We’re Looking For

  • Full-cycle / 360 recruitment experience — ideally within maritime

  • A proven track record of placing professional candidates at mid-senior level

  • Confidence in managing exclusive, retained, and senior assignments

  • Strong commercial awareness and a consultative, client-first mindset

  • Drive and ambition to grow a profitable, specialist desk remotely

What We Offer

  • Total reward of circa £60,000 (Lead Consultant) and £85,000 (Principal Consultant) in year one
