We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to plan, manage, and deliver impactful events worldwide. These include high-profile vessel naming ceremonies, client panels, industry conferences, and internal employee events. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in large-scale corporate or maritime events and play a key role in enhancing brand presence and strengthening stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute international events including:
- New vessel naming and delivery ceremonies
- Client and industry panels, receptions, sports tournaments, and conferences
- Employee engagement and internal events
- Coordinate with shipyards, port authorities, suppliers, and international partners to deliver seamless vessel naming ceremonies.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with company brand values.
- Develop event programs, speeches, agendas, and supporting materials in collaboration with communications and leadership teams.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including caterers, decorators, A/V providers, and travel partners.
- Ensure consistent branding and visual identity across all events.
- Liaise with internal teams to align messaging and objectives.
- Manage guest experience including invitations, RSVPs, and on-site hospitality.
- Evaluate event outcomes and prepare reports with recommendations for future improvements.
- 3–5 years’ proven experience in planning and delivering international corporate events
- Experience with maritime industry events or vessel naming ceremonies is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident engaging with senior stakeholders and global partners
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with event management tools/software
- Highly detail-oriented and adaptable under pressure
- Flexible to travel internationally and work outside of standard hours when required by event schedules
