This role offers the best of both worlds—a solid base ashore with the excitement of joining commercial offshore vessels for project work throughout the year. You'll play a critical role in supporting network and communication systems onboard from the office, and when it's go-time, you'll be out there installing and upgrading cutting-edge equipment on-site.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Office-based support for onboard ETs handling complex electronic, network, and comms issues.
- Underway assignments on offshore vessels for hands-on projects and installations. Trip lengths maybe 4-10 weeks with limited comms.
- Collaboration with a team that's as passionate about tech and the sea as you are.
- Prior offshore or maritime experience? Great—but not essential.
- Experience with avionics, military, or defense electronics? Also great—we'd love to hear from you.
- You must reside in Virginia for easy commuting to our office when needed.
- US Citizenship is required, as security clearance (or eligibility for one) is part of the deal.
- Competitive compensation, including field pay and performance bonuses
- CompTIA certifications and ongoing technical training
- All travel fully covered
- Top-tier benefits package (seriously, it’s good)
