Faststream are working with a Natural Gas storage business based in Hampshire who are looking for an Electrical Technician to join their business on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the EC&I Supervisor you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to Electrical equipment around this COMAH site including distribution panels, motors, controllers, starters etc
. You will also assist in the installation and commissioning of new plant equipment as required as well as liaise and supervise external contractors to ensure that they are work to the requirements of the permits and maintain site safety standards.
Successful candidates will likely have previous Electrical experience within an Industrial or O&G setting. It is important that you have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering and COMPEX inspection to Ex 04 is desirable. An understanding of instrumentation issues would be useful.
The role is based on a 37.5 hour working week, Monday to Friday but will also include extra hours as required including weekends with an additional overtime rate. A generous holiday and pension scheme is available as well as a bonus scheme and other benefits. Candidates must live within an hour of the clients site and should have a full UK driving license. Our client is only able to accept candidates with the right to work in the UK.
